#i still press a when catching like its gonna do something😔  #attacking moves ONLY. statuses are for losers  #i try to give them fitting names for their typing/what they are  #and semi recently in the past couple gens ive started giving them names from the languages associated w the region  #for example my cinderace is named aodhán which is irish for little fire :)  #i never use the master ball i always tell myself im gonna save it for the toughest legendary but then i end up using a timer ball  #it feels too special to use  #if im catching something its bc its CUTE and i LIKE IT and not for stat reasons
